In Pittsburgh, authorities arrested a woman accused of attacking her son's teacher with a brick.

According to the AP, on Wednesday the police were called to an area near the King PreK-8 school in that city, to help the teacher Janice Watkins, 46, who had been attacked by Daishonta Williams, the mother of one of your students.

The police report indicates that the 29-year-old woman would have followed the teacher with a man, to throw a brick in her face, because she was furious because the day before she had confiscated a cell phone from her son. According to the educator, the young man had bitten her on that occasion.

The victim, who teaches fourth and fifth grades, had already been threatened the previous day by the mother of that student, what was not expected is that he would follow her after leaving his job in a black SUV with another subject, to hit her like that.

As a result of this unusual assault Watkins suffered various injuries to his face including cuts to his lip and the loss of a tooth.

Williams now faces charges of aggravated assault, stalking, terrorist threats, and recklessly endangering someone else. Investigators continue to search for the individual who accompanied her in the alleged assault.

The alleged assailant is in custody and a bond of $ 50,000 was imposed on her. It is not yet known if she will hire a lawyer or if she will plead guilty or not.
