A new case of a teacher taking the relationship with a student beyond the classroom, specifically to bed, could have happened in Oregon, where a 29-year-old teacher faces several accusations of sexual crimes, after her husband He turned her over to the police, indicating that she had an intimate relationship with a 15-year-old male student.

According to People, teacher Andrea Baber was arrested at her home and taken to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. Prior to her arrest, the suspect had been working as an English teacher at Logos Christian Academy in Springfield where, according to police documents, she had started a "regular" sexual relationship with one of her students since last year.

The police learned of the alleged relationship after the father of the victim presented an anonymous email indicating that his son and the teacher were having this type of relationship. That message also included photos of the teacher with the young man, in bed, so the father contacted the police.

It is unclear if it was the teacher's husband himself who sent those documents to the authorities, but People indicated that her husband had discovered him red-handed.

Now the teacher faces charges of abuse of a minor under 18, sodomy, sexual corruption online, as well as providing the teenager with marijuana and alcohol, among others.

Baber has not filed the charges against him and it was unclear Tuesday whether he has hired an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
