Actor Loses His Home In Earthquake

The earthquake of September 19 in Mexico City, left several affected people who lost their home, either completely collapsed or on the verge of collapse. Some celebrities were also victims of this natural sinister; One of them was Otto Sirgo, whose apartment located in the Del Valle neighborhood, one of the most affected by the earthquake, was uninhabitable.

"We committed the stupidity of going back inside," Sirgo told the Mexican newspaper El Universal.

During the earthquake, the actor was putting on a play in a nearby area. Immediately, he moved, as he could, to his home to see his wife Maleni, who suffers great fear from this type of movement. Sirgo and his family live on a tenth floor of Gabriel Mancera Street, where several buildings were damaged and some even completely collapsed.

"We had no place to sleep and we committed the gigantic stupidity of entering the apartment," explained the actor. "To get some papers and very little from my grandson."

For now, the actor has decided to change his place of residence to San Miguel Allende, Mexico, where he has other property, while he solves the situation with his affected house.

“I cannot say whether or not I want to live in Mexico City, but suddenly I return strictly and only to work; Today more than ever I need to work, he warned.

With what happened, Otto Sirgo now adds the hundreds of people affected by the earthquake that has left so many victims and, unfortunately, dozens of deaths.
