The judge in charge of the lawsuit between Julián Gil and Marjorie de Sousa for the pension of their son, Matías, issued an interlocutory sentence on Tuesday whereby the actor will have to contribute 10 percent of the income he receives from his work on Televisa.

Gil declared himself pleased and victorious with the judicial decision, but De Sousa's lawyer, Alma Pellón, warned in an interview with People en Español that the ruling is not a triumph for the ex-partner of his client.

What can you tell us about the resolution that the judge set regarding the pension?

This is called an interlocutory judgment and it remains [a pension] that is [fixed] temporarily. Interlocutory sentences are those given on something small within the trial, but it is still a provisional pension. The pension is being fixed with respect to the age of the child. They [Julián Gil and his lawyer] had asked that it be reduced to 4 percent and the judge said no, that he would fix it at 10 percent until the final sentence is handed down.

We have not asked for a fixed amount, we have only asked for alimony for Matías, it is the only thing we have asked for. What the judge dictates is what we have followed. I do not know if they are going to appeal the sentence because they asked for 4 percent, even if they say that for them it is a victory, because no, it is not a victory. It's still 10 percent on everything you earn. And [Gil] has not yet declared what he earns outside of Televisa.

Do you agree with what the judge set?

We have never disagreed with the judge's signals. We asked for a pension to be set and we never asked for an amount, how it was handled.

What about the name of Gabriel Soto at the trial?

We have not mentioned it. We never mentioned the Lord nor are we going to mention him. We don't even have to mention it. They did not have to put it in, it is not a requirement as they mentioned it. And neither to request the DNA test you need to demand the nullity of paternity. There is a mechanism called voluntary jurisdiction.

Why hasn't Marjorie publicly spoken about the case?

Marjorie has not spoken [to the press] for the welfare of the two of them [of her and Matías].

How is Matías in health?

Matías is sick. A medical report is missing.
