Óscar de la Hoya spoke for the first time about the photos that were circulated in the media and the Internet in which he was seen wearing lingerie and expressed that they were taken “at a bad time,” reports TMZ.
The former professional boxer made the candid remarks during an interview on the radio program The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1, after questioning by broadcaster Charlamagne Tha God, who spoke to him about the famous and commented on snapshots. "It was just a bad time in my life," said De la Hoya. "That's all," added the boxer.
The now Mexican-American boxing producer expressed only that and did not offer more details on the matter, explains the note from the news portal. That is, he did not explain what was wrong with his life. However, TMZ exposes that the husband of Puerto Rican singer Millie Corretjer has been in rehab for substance abuse three times.
Another of the questions they asked during the interview on the radio program to De la Hoya was that if he understood that those photos could have affected his career as a boxing promoter. However, TMZ reports that De la Hoya limited himself to saying that from that moment - when the photos were released - both personally and professionally everything has been better. "In America, you have the opportunity to grow and shine, and improve and be better … That is exactly what I have done," De la Hoya told the radio program.
