Oscar De La Hoya Could Separate From His Wife Millie Corretjer

If there is someone who is known for speaking with no hair on the tongue, it is Oscar de la Hoya.

The former boxer recently declared "single", despite still being married to pop singer Millie Corretjer.

A video released by TMZ shows De La Hoya partying at the 1 OAK nightclub in Los Angeles. In this video, the Mexican-American expresses directly to the camera "Guess what? I'm single!"

This is not the first time that the couple has been in trouble over De La Hoya's behavior and substance abuse. After the revelation of the video, singer Millie, wife of 15 years and mother of the ex-athlete's two children, Atiana and Devon, for her part, went to her social networks to post an indirect message and make her place clear.

"In the darkest days, when I feel inadequate, loveless and unworthy, I remember whose daughter I am and fix my crown," says the message posted on her Instagram account that could respond to rumors of the separation.

Stefan Friedman, representative of De la Hoya testified about what happened defending the reputation of his Oscar and his promoter company.

"Oscar's personal life is just that - personal," Friedman told TMZ. "While some inside and outside the boxing world - for their own personal interests - have tried for years to tarnish the reputation of Oscar and Golden Boy Promotions, the truth is that the two are trying to remain active for many more years.

Although a separation has not been confirmed, the withdrawn singer could announce the knockout of her marriage in the next few hours.
