Rich Piana Dies At 46

The bodybuilder Rich Piana, who became famous for both the size of his muscles and the use of steroids, has died at the age of 46 after spending two weeks in an induced coma.

His wife Sara Piana, from whom he was separated, reported the death this Friday in an emotional message on Facebook.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ Sports, paramedics who went to the bodybuilder's house found 20 bottles of testosterone and white powders on a table, along with a straw and a credit card, so they administered a medicine to revive victims of opiate overdose.

Chanel confessed to them that Piana had suffered from a drug addiction in the past, but was now allegedly clean of narcotics.

The Florida 6th District Coroner's Office in Pinellas County confirmed the death, but did not cite the cause.
