A newlyweds who were on a honeymoon have been accused of kidnapping and raping a 27-year-old woman in the city of Hialeah, northwest of Miami, Florida.
Miami-Dade County authorities reported that on the afternoon of July 9, Rashada Hurley, 32, and her husband, Timothy Lowe, 37, kidnapped her victim when the woman was in her car in the parking lot of a local supermarket. The woman had lowered the window pane and was hit from behind, losing consciousness.
The victim told police that when she woke up, Hurley was suffocating her while Lowe was guiding the car. The three arrived at an establishment of the Motel 6 chain, where the newlyweds used their credit card to rent a room. There, the woman was raped and forced to perform oral sex on Lowe.
At some point during her terrible odyssey, the woman took advantage of an oversight and was able to escape from her captors to seek help.
