Tennessee Man Raped Children And Animals

A jury convicted a Tennessee man in less than an hour for sexually abusing a boy. This was announced by People magazine.

Jeremy Ledbetter, 29, of Nashville, was found guilty of the various charges against him for rape and aggravated sexual assault against someone under the age of 13, as well as for inducing a minor to sustain and witness sexual acts. According to information gathered by People, the prosecution described the incident as "one of the most disturbing and terrifying cases they have ever seen."

At trial, the young Ledbetter victim testified against him, telling jurors that the rape and abuse started when he was 10 years old and continued until he was 12. According to prosecution statements, Ledbetter also enjoyed sexually abusing animals.

"All victims of child sexual abuse who testify before their assailants are brave to do so," said Davidson County Deputy District Attorney Chad Butler. "The victim in this case was particularly brave for standing up and testifying about the type of humiliating abuse she suffered at the hands of Jeremy Ledbetter." Ledbetter could face up to 134 years in prison when he is sentenced on August 18.
