The Couple Who Fell In Love At Three Years Old

Love at first sight may be possible at just three years old. Mathew Grodsky and Laura Grodsky, both 23, can attest to that.

The couple met in their preschool class. There, Mathew remembers that in front of all her companions she declared her love to her beloved, who two decades later, would become her wife. "One of my earliest memories is, being 3 years old and standing in front of my preschool class declaring that one day I would marry her," Mathew told People.

They both went to different elementary schools, but they continued to see each other sporadically until 2000. In fact, their parents exchanged Christmas cards. Mathew told the magazine that one day they were watching movies together. Laura was suddenly scared by the mystery scene they were seeing, but he took her hand to reassure her. This was not the only gesture of the young man towards his beloved. However, the life of both took different directions.

Suddenly, there would be a reunion. A mutual friend was the link. Laura was looking at her friend's cell phone when she saw Mathew's number. The date was at the cinema. As soon as they saw each other, "it was love at first sight," he said.

After two weeks they started dating, already as boyfriends. They went to different schools and universities, but they were still together.

One day they went to the preschool where everything had started, their little school in Phoenix, Arizona. “I escorted her across the grass and knelt down [to ask for her hand]. Laura was stunned. I told her why I wanted to marry her, and she said yes,”Grodsky explained.

The couple joined in marriage on November 30 in Arizona. Then they had a honeymoon in Maui. This is undoubtedly the story of a great love.
