The video that recorded an unusual sea lion attack on a small tourist in a British Columbia, Canada port has since become one of the most popular videos on social media.

Despite the moments of panic witnessed by the terrifying moment, the girl managed to escape the incident unscathed after a man jumped to her rescue almost immediately, as can be seen in the video.

The clip shows how a group of tourists see the sea lion in the water and begin to interact with the animal. As reported by CNN on its online site, the fascinated tourists tried to get his attention with whistles and reaching out to offer him food.

The animal timidly approaches tourists and especially the girl, which generates the smiles of those present. The little girl then decides to sit on the edge of the port to appreciate her new best friend, but what no one expected is that he would get out of the water, take her from his dress with his mouth and ruthlessly pull her into the water.
