A father of Hispanic origin died after receiving a blow from a stranger outside a nightclub in Las Vegas, where he was celebrating his brother's next wedding.
This was reported by spokesmen from the Las Vegas metropolitan police department who affirm that Luis Campos, 45, the father of five children, was attacked on the morning of April 30 just outside a bar.
The victim's brother told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that they were both lined up to enter a bar when the attack occurred. Suddenly a tall man and a shorter one approached them.
"The tallest went straight to face my brother and said something like 'what are you looking at?', Said Garibay," They didn't even add up. My brother turned his head, didn't say a single word to him.
That was when the subject hit him and Campos fell dead on the pavement. "I just grabbed his head," Garibay explained, "I just held his head down." Campos passed away a couple of days later at the University Medical Center.
The prime suspect in the case is a 27-year-old named James Beach, who is now facing an open murder charge. Police reported that another man was involved in an argument in the incident, but that the person will not be formally charged.
