Teacher Faces Sexual Assault Charges Against Student

A fifth-grade elementary teacher, Katherine González, faces charges of sexual assault of a child, in this case one of her students. While what happened is aired in a Milwaukee, WI court, a judge bailed Gonzalez $ 15,000 and barred him from contacting the 11-year-old boy.

According to local Fox television, court documents describe a sexual encounter between the 24-year-old Atlas Preparatory Academy teacher with her student on February 25, the date González took him home. Been there alone, she touched him inappropriately.

The student stated that something similar had happened in the teacher's car - she kissed and touched him, and had him touch her in his "private areas" on his clothes - when she picked him up to take him to his home, where they would supposedly look a movie. In exchanges that she held with the boy on Instagram and Snapchat, González would have written: "I am in love with a child and I hate that I cannot tell anyone."

When asked by authorities why she had done it, González said she was nervous because she believed her boyfriend was going to propose to her and she was not sure of their relationship. Additionally, she explained that she wanted to make the victim happy because she believed he was depressed.
