Indianapolis City police believe Jacqueline Watss, the woman who was found dead on a sandbar on the Ftatrock River in Columbus, Indiana last Saturday, was not a victim of homicide.

According to the authorities' argument, several witnesses saw the 33-year-old girl chasing a small white dog wearing a sweater near the river. "There are still questions we're working to answer," said Matt Harris, a police lieutenant.

The canine was identified as a local dog named Ringo, who was lost over the weekend and was found dead on the banks of the same river. "Jackie saw beauty around the world," the Watts family said in a statement read at the press conference. "She lived and loved with great humility."

Watts was reported missing on Friday night. The 33-year-old woman was planning to travel with her husband to Washington, DC, later that night.
