A Pennsylvania woman who was embroiled in a heated argument with her husband over a burned pot was arrested after the lawsuit allegedly ended with the man being shot to death in the head.

According to The Washington Post, authorities maintain that Teresa Drum fatally shot 42-year-old Dennis Drum after arguing over a pot that she had burned. According to the same version, the woman took a photo of the body, which she sent to a friend via text message, took a bath, and then called 911.

When officers arrived, they found the victim lying in his bed with a bullet to the forehead and a gun in his hand. The 38-year-old woman told them that her husband had committed suicide after fighting over the pot and also because he had had the last beer in the house.

The defendant showed the paramedics the photo she took of her husband with her cell phone and explained that she had sent it to a friend because she did not know what to do. However, they noted that the image did not show the firearm in the deceased's hand and that it had been taken 11 minutes before he called 911.

After being questioned by investigators, the suspect admitted that she had drunk seven beers that afternoon and that her husband was insulting her for the way she cooked. The fight ended in the bedroom, she explained, where her husband pulled out the gun, she put her finger on the trigger and the gun was reportedly fired, authorities reported.
