How does Mauricio Ochmann manage to manage so many projects? Not content with being the father of a beautiful little girl, husband of the beautiful Aislinn Derbez, and protagonist of one of the series of the moment, El Chema (Telemundo), also takes time to advocate for humanitarian causes.

The 39-year-old Mexican actor (who, unbelievably, has also just debuted in the fashion world) is now a proud spokesman for the organization Compassion & Choices, which advocates for the right of assisted death in the United States.

For this reason, Ochmann recorded a passionate video revealing his feelings and thoughts regarding the issue that, according to recent polls, is well seen by a large sector of the Hispanic population in the United States. "As Latinos, we learn from a very young age to accept death because of the reverence of our culture," Ochmann explains to People en Español. "However, we are afraid to speak of death itself."

The actor joins the thought that the last months of a person's life should not be unnecessarily painful, they must be given, ensures "the opportunity to control the manner and timing of his death."

And to verify that there is no wooden hoe in the blacksmith's house, the actor assures that if he has to die painfully, he does not want the martyrdom to continue. "I know that one day I will die, it is the only sure thing in life," he explains. “I already told my family, my friends, and the people I love that I don't want to be connected to tubes, catheters, and needles.
