Elizabeth Gutiérrez continues to fulfill dreams. The Mexican-American actress spoke to People en Español about the launch of her new line of Ely creams and how she manages to succeed as a professional without neglecting her role as mom.
"It's an adventure. It started with a dream, with an idea, and thank God already in autumn I took out the skin care line. That idea was born because I wanted to do something within what I like. I am a woman, I always like to look good. My sisters, my friends asked me: 'Ely how should I take care of myself, what do you use?' They always think that we artists use something different than all the others. I gave them my tips and that's where the idea came from,”he says. '
Gutiérrez emphasizes that being with his children remains his priority. "I wanted to find something that would allow me to be with my children full time but never stop being me, never stop being a woman who has dreams, who wants to move forward, who has her own goals," says the couple of Cuban actor William Levy..
Seeing her line of creams ready to launch in October has her excited. “I am very excited because I believe that all women can achieve what we set out to do,” adds Gutiérrez, who is listed this year on People en Español's 25 Most Powerful Women.
"Women have to support each other. If a woman feels safe and feels pretty, she can go outside and conquer the world. More than selling a cream or making a product, I wanted to provide a message of inner beauty. Women apart from the physical outside, we have to radiate that inside, "she concludes. "I invite all of you to feel good, to love yourself, to believe in your dreams, to fight for what you want."
