Cancer Sick Boy Makes A Video For Powerful

A 12-year-old boy suffering from a rare type of cancer recorded a moving video asking for support for Aracely Arámbula and her goddaughter, Tania Karam, in the voting to elect one of "The 25 Most Powerful Women" of 2017.

Yael Salvador Galán Muñiz is the name of the little boy who lives in Toluca, Mexico, who was diagnosed with a primitive neuroectodermal tumor in the pelvis almost a year ago.

The little boy came into contact with the star of La Doña (Telemundo) after his diagnosis and immediately occupied a very special place in the heart of the Mexican actress, who shortly after learning her story decided to donate a special catheter for the child receive treatment with less pain.

"Yael has been fighting cancer for a year," Dr. Miguel Brea Galeana, who works together with Arámbula of the Angelitos Foundation with cancer, who helps hundreds of children in Mexico who suffer from this terrible disease, told People in Spanish.

The beautiful Mexican actress has nominated Karam, her friend and spiritual advisor, as her nominee for Poderosas for the support she has provided to the foundation annually.

Arámbula's “goddaughter” competes with Venezuelan vlogger Lele Pons, Univisión presenter Maity Interiano and blogger Marinés Duarte, who were nominated by Gaby Espino, Satcha Pretto and Roselyn Sánchez -respectively- as their candidates.

"The idea of making the video," explained the doctor. "It was Yael's own."

"The lonely boy, because of the [Powerful] voting, told me 'Doctor, I will make a video so that they vote for Aracely, but please spread it that all children with cancer [because] deserve that help," "he said.

"It broke my soul," said Galeana, "because he always thinks of all his little friends who are hospitalized!"

In the video, the boy appears seated, despite the fact that the tumor he suffers causes him terrible pain in the pelvis.

"On April 30 Aracely gave three catheters to children who needed them, including Yael," continued the doctor.

The idea was to reduce the number of injections that the small patient needed, who continues under medical treatment.
