Attack On A Canadian Mosque

Canadian authorities have identified a 27-year-old student as the author of the attack on Sunday night against a mosque in Quebec City, northeast Canada, which has left six dead and eight wounded.

According to the Canadian channel CBC, the suspect is named Alexandre Bissonnette, lives in a suburb of the city where the massacre occurred, and studied anthropology and political science at a local university.

The young man has a history of provocative opinions and antisocial behavior. A person in charge of an organization that works with refugees assured the newspaper that Bissonnette had made abusive comments against members of a chat room., reported the local newspaper La Presse
