Austrian authorities have ruled that a woman named Estibaliz Carranza is too dangerous to remain in a women's prison, so they will transfer her to a men's prison. The 38-year-old woman is sentenced to life in prison in Schwarzenau, about 120 kilometers from Vienna, for the murder of her husband and lover.

According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, in 2008 Carranza - who was born in Mexico but has Spanish nationality - shot his ex-husband dead because he refused to leave his home, even though they had already divorced.

After the murder, the convicted murderer butchered the body, kept it in a freezer, and finally buried it in the basement of the ice cream parlor she owned in Vienna. Four years later she did the same with her boyfriend, because he had supposedly been unfaithful to her.

Some plumbers who got to do a job at their ice cream parlor, were the ones who discovered the remains of the two subjects, alerting the authorities.

Since 2012, the fearsome criminal has been in a prison that is exclusively for women, where she became famous as a very dangerous inmate and was diagnosed with a "serious, complete and multifaceted personality disorder."

The new prison to which she will be transferred is a center with psychiatric specialization that has 91 more inmates, some of them also sentenced to serve life sentences. There, Carranza will be watched by 8 security agents, while she will be attended by medical personnel, which includes 45 nurses, 18 therapists and 4 specialists.
