Donald Trump Tweets The Wrong Ivanka

Much has been said about President-elect Donald Trump and his fondness for using Twitter. His constant communications through the social platform have caused him headaches and word wars with characters ranging from Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin to former Mexican President Vicente Fox.

Now, a tweet has placed Trump - who takes office this Friday - in the eye of the hurricane. Not by his own words, but by those answered by a woman when she was mentioned by mistake in one of her multiple tweets.

The misunderstanding began when Trump wanted to comment on a message posted by a Twitter user named "DrGoodSpine" and who has apparently already tagged Trump and his daughter Ivanka in previous tweets.

But his good intentions failed when instead of typing @IvankaTrump, which is his daughter's correct name on Twitter, the millionaire wrote '@Ivanka', which is the username used by a woman named Ivanka Majic who lives in England.

Majic - according to CNN - lives in a seaside town in Brighton and does consulting for digital companies.

After publishing his now famous tweet, it already accumulated more than 17,000 “likes” and about 6,000 people had shared it.

The curious thing is that with the attention that the elections have generated on Trump's daughter, Majic assures that he has received multiple tweets where he is wrongly mentioned.

"It is nothing new," the woman told the Good Morning Britain program. "I've had the handle @Ivanka for a long time, it's my name."

"It's a lot of fun because I'm getting all this attention, and yet my political leanings couldn't be further from Donald Trump's," Majic continued. "If anyone has ideas of how I can use it for something good, I am open to suggestions," she concluded.

The good thing is that he takes it with a sense of humor.
