Lorena Herrera and her husband Roberto Assad were first-hand witnesses to the tragic events that mourned the Mexican tourist destination of Playa del Carmen, where a shooting left five dead and 15 wounded.

The singer and actress revealed through their social networks that just moments before the shooting occurred, she and her husband were at the scene, but thanks to the fact that her partner did not feel completely well, they decided to retire.

"Because my husband felt bad we left where the shooting was and we walked on the opposite side of the street to eat something, just when I was taking the first bite of my pizza, everyone ran to our side," shared the star through a text published on his Facebook page. mÖ¶ó ^ ÓWmÍšwNá¾4 {~ õÝÞ; k ã½õ

"Thankful that my husband felt bad, since we were going right there at that time," adds Herrera, who also took the opportunity to thank all his followers for the messages he received after the incident.

Of course, the 49-year-old Mexican also expressed her sadness at the tragedy. "Very sad for the facts, how people can bring weapons to an event where they are going to have fun! My condolences to the families of the deceased and those affected," he said.

There is no doubt that luck accompanied Lorena and her partner, as minutes before the deadly shooting, she shared a video on Twitter with which she boasted her attendance at the BPM electronic music festival in Playa del Carmen, without knowing what in a matter of moments would happen right there at the Blue Parrot club.

Terrifying details of the tragedy have revealed that among the fatalities were two Canadians, an Italian, a Colombian and an American girl, just 18 years old, who was crushed to death under the stampede generated by the shooting.
