The newborn stolen from his family in a Florida hospital 18 years ago has appeared after all this time living with his alleged kidnapper, whom the victim considered his mother. This is what the special forces have reported.

This is Kamiyah Mobley who with just a few hours to live was forcibly removed from her family by a woman dressed as hospital staff. According to reports from the time and the city where it all happened, Jacksonville, the baby was delivered to an alleged nurse who the family could not suspect. In turn, the hospital staff considered this woman to be a member of the family.

This Friday, City Sheriff Mike Williams told a press conference that Kamiyah had appeared in Walterboro, South Carolina, and under a false name created by his alleged kidnapper.

The Sheriff also declared the absolute happiness of his biological parents upon hearing the news of his appearance. The reunion has not yet occurred since the decision is made by the young woman as she is of legal age.

The person who impersonated her mother all this time is named Gloria Williams and was immediately arrested at her home without the victim present. It is also not known whether the detainee has a criminal record, since the investigation has only just begun. Her appearance in court took place this Friday, where according to a First Coast News reporter, Kamiyah was also present. The young woman assured that he loved her and was praying for her.

The little girl's disappearance took place in 1998, leaving her parents devastated. After discovering her whereabouts, thanks to the clues that the authorities have long followed and that were confirmed with a DNA test of the kidnapped woman, her father has come forward. "I always waited and prayed for this day to occur," Craig Aiken, a biological father, told the Florida Times Union newspaper.

Now it is Kamiyah who will have to take the step of knowing her parents, a difficult decision at the moment but that time will help to occur.
