Cristian De La Fuente's Wife Hospitalized For Abdominal Pain

Cristián de la Fuente is extremely grateful for the fans' expressions of affection, after learning the news that his wife Angélica Castro had been hospitalized last Monday.

The couple had just come from spending a few days on vacation in Lake Vichuquén, Chile, when an abdominal pain forced the actor's wife to seek medical help.

"Angelica has been hospitalized since yesterday when they returned from the lake because she could not bear the abdominal pain in her intestines," Cristina Wagner, representative of the Latin We agency, which manages De la Fuente's interests, told People en Español.

Apparently the cause of this pain is still unknown and the doctors have decided to keep Castro under observation and thus study his evolution.

For his part, De la Fuente notified on Tuesday, via Twitter, that his wife was still in the hospital, although the prognosis was good.

“Angelica is still hospitalized but getting better. Come on, you can,”wrote the Chilean in a message on Twitter in which, first of all, he appreciated the support received so far.

Until Monday, Cristián de la Fuente and his family were enjoying a well-deserved vacation at Lake Vichuquén, in Chile.
