A community in the state of Virginia was greatly surprised to wake up this week. TVs were found outside his door.

The strange discovery happened Sunday morning in the Henrico neighborhood of Hampshire, where they found outdated televisions in more than 50 homes.

Sounds like a joke, since the person who carried them was a man carrying a television on his head, but residents of the area had a lot to say about it.

“He wants to be known as TV Santa Claus. I don't know,”said Jim Brooksbank, an industry neighbor on ABC.

Brooksbank, who saw the man through surveillance cameras outside his home, said it seemed to him that he was "just doing his job."

The surveillance system captured the man with a television over his head, placing a larger and older television on the front porch of a house and walking away. In one of these cases, he even greeted the surveillance camera.

“I thought my son brought him home, but apparently not. They had too much time on their hands if they had all these televisions and spread them throughout the neighborhood,”said another area resident, Michael Kroll.

Henrico authorities have video from security cameras of several neighbors, but they think it is just a joke, it is not a dangerous situation and it is not directed at anyone in particular.

"This appears to be more of an inconvenience to the community," said an officer.

County officials and workers spent Sunday morning picking up the old units and transporting them. This is the second time that the TV mystery has been unfolded in Glen Allen. The same thing happened in a different neighborhood last August.

How will the mystery be solved?
