Olympic medalist Ana Claudia Guevara recovers in Mexico after having suffered a savage assault as a result of a traffic accident.

The attack occurred last Sunday while the athlete and senator from the state of Sonora, Mexico, drove her Harley Davidson motorcycle about 150 kilometers from the Mexican capital.

While driving, a Dodge Voyager truck with Mexico State license plates struck his motorcycle and knocked it down. The athlete got up to claim the blow, to which the four subjects who were traveling in the car got down and began to hit her in the ribs and on the head.

According to the Mexican newspaper El Universal, the senator continued her journey a few kilometers with her companion, Karina Rincón. Both reported what happened to a group of federal police officers they found on the road.

After the complaint, the sprinter was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated for due to various injuries. From there she began to share the cowardly attack of which she was a victim on her social networks, and described it as “gender violence”.

A few moments ago, Guevara also revealed that his attack was recorded by other motorists traveling in the area, and asked them to please forward these recordings to the relevant authorities, so that they can locate their attackers.
