Joel William Benjamin, a 71-year-old resident of Gulfport, Florida, has been accused by local police of plotting an incredible and disgusting revenge: spraying urine on a woman walking her dog outside her home. Apparently the old man was outraged that people in his community did not pick up the spoils of their pets and was up to his crown.
The events occurred last Saturday night in front of Benjamin's home, located in the 3200 block of 58th Street S. “[Benjamin] observed that the victim was walking his dog… [and] approached her and took out a water gun that contained urine”, is explained in the police report of his arrest.
In an affidavit appear the statements of the subject who admitted having sprayed the woman with the toy several times.
The same document details that after admitting his wrongdoing, Benjamin showed zero remorse and told the police that "[If I could] I would do it again." The man was detained and made available to Pinellas County authorities for later release on a $ 500 bond, the local Tampa Bay Times newspaper confirms.
The exact reason for the premeditated attack is still unknown, but according to the site The Smoking Gun, the man may have reacted in this way because the residents of the area do not clean when they take their animals for a walk.
The charge brought against the accused was a misdemeanor offense and he will not pass his official records in prison.
