Former basketball player Lamar Odom has re-entered a rehab clinic to deal with his drug and alcohol addiction problems, People magazine has learned from a source.
The same source confirmed that Khloé Kardashian's ex has been hospitalized for a week and "plans to stay 30 days." Odom will follow a "substance abuse" program, although in this case "he was not taking drugs." "He is clean. This is just a precautionary measure," said a person close to the former NBA player.
And it is that despite the bad omens, it seems that Odom's decision would be based on his determination to "stay clear and focused", since the end of Khloé's divorce and the proximity of the Christmas holidays could lead him to relapse.
"He is trying to take care of himself. He wants to be better," added the source. "His friends and family encouraged him to return to the clinic and he accepted and made the decision."
Many have worried about Lamar's health since he was about to die from an overdose in a Las Vegas hotel.
A few months later, once recovered, Odom was seen drinking cognac, according to the entertainment news portal TMZ. Later he was expelled from an airplane for apparently drunk and vomiting.
