Lamar Odom On His Drug Use And Cheating On Khloe Kardashian

Lamar Odom is finally opening up about his drug addiction and infidelities to reality star Khloe Kardashian. In his first interview since his life-threatening coma in 2015, the former NBA champion reveals that he is sober and has regrets.

Odom tells US Weekly magazine that his now ex-wife discovered him doing drugs in 2011, about two years before their breakup. "She was disappointed," I have admitted. "So was I. The sad thing about it is, I don't know if I was disappointed because I was actually doing the drug or because she caught me."

I added, “She knew I was doing cocaine the whole time after that. It was my drug of choice. I'm not going to say she accepted it because that would be the wrong word. Tolerated would be a better word.”

The former athlete also shared details about his infidelity including a moment where the youngest of the Kardashian sisters caught him in a motel room doing drugs with another woman. That was like sticking a knife in her heart and twisting it. She didn't deserve it,”I have admitted. She always tried to help me with the drugs. I rejected the help.”

Even after their separation, when Odom was found in a Las Vegas brothel after four days of consuming large quantities of drugs, he woke up to Khloe by his side. After surviving 12 strokes and two attacks, the 37-year-old feels that he “cheated death.”

Although she had already begun the divorce proceedings at the time, the Kardashian stopped them for several months, even after Odom left the hospital and began his recovery. But in May of 2016, when he was seen drinking alcohol in a nightclub, she continued with the divorce that took place in December 2016.

Lamar is currently working on an autobiography and a documentary series.
