Parents Of "girl With Reptile Skin" Accused Of Scam

The parents of a little girl who has become known as "the girl with the reptile skin" are being accused in Spain of defrauding people who, moved by the condition of their daughter, sent them donations for medical expenses.

Yesterday a Spanish judge issued provisional bail without bail for Fernando Drake Blanco, the father of Nadia Nerea Blanco, the minor who was born with trichotiodystrophy, a strange degenerative disease. While the mother, Marga Narau, was released on charges, but her power over the girl, who is in the care of another relative, was revoked.

Among the properties that Nadia's parents acquired are a vehicle with a cost of 24,500 euros, 32 watches valued at 50,000 euros, first-line electronic devices, also marijuana and a pistol.
