Enrique Anastacio Cristóbal, who participated in the La Voz México contest five years ago, was found dead and with signs of torture along with other subjects near the Zócalo de Chilpancingo, Guerrero.
The disappearance of Cristóbal, who was shot dead, was reported on November 30. It was not until December 4 that the young man was found dead along with two men.
The Mexican was planning to get married this month. He studied law at the University of Chilpancingo and in order to pay his expenses he sang in pottery in the state of Guerrero. After finishing his studies, he worked in the Planning Committee for the Development of the State of Guerrero.
Apparently the other two men who perished with the former contestant from La Voz … were waiters at the pottery where he played his music.
This death is the second tragedy that happens to the contestants on that show. Alejandro "Jano" Fuentes, a former participant in the popular contest, died after remaining in a delicate state of health after receiving three bullet wounds.
According to information shared by the online site of an NBC affiliate, the singer died in the city of Chicago, where he was attacked in an attempted armed assault.
