After Harvey Weinstein was found guilty on February 24 of rape and sexual assault, the final sentence was finally released on Wednesday. The producer has been sentenced to 23 years in prison.

The two sex crimes the New York State Criminal Court charges him with are third-degree rape (without express consent) of actress Jessica Mann and for forcing production assistant Mimi Haleyi to have oral sex, a sex crime in first grade.

The judge's decision has fallen like a jug of cold water for the team of lawyers and their client who had to be immediately admitted to a hospital in the Big Apple after discovering the final verdict. The 67-year-old filmmaker began to have palpitations in the chest and high blood pressure, his lawyer Donna Rotunno reported to NBC.

Weinstein's health has greatly weakened in recent months. The former Hollywood fashion producer suffered a serious fall in the prison where he was located, Rikers Island, and also had to undergo a heart operation at Bellevue Hospital last week.
