Actor Danny Trejos, who starred in films such as Mechete, From Dusk Till Dawn, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, among others, broke the record as the actor who has died the most in the cinema. The histrion of Mexican descent has died 65 times and outnumbered Christopher Lee and his 60 deaths.

Trejos was born in Los Angeles, California, where from a very young age he entered criminal activities that led him to serve an eleven-year prison sentence. Behind bars, Trejos became a professional boxer. After getting his probation, the boxer worked in a junkyard until he managed to own a landscaping business.

His luck changed in 1985 when he was hired to train actor Eric Roberts, who had to fight on the Runaway Train tape. The director, Andrei Konchalovsky, set his eyes on Trejos and invited him to work on the tape as an extra actor. It was there that his acting career was on the rise becoming one of the fetish actors of his cousin Robert Rodríguez and Quentin Tarantino.
