What Will Vicente Fernández's 80th Birthday Be Like?

On February 17, Vicente Fernández will be 80 years old. Given this, the family is already preparing a great event to commemorate such a special date and now some of the details of the celebration that will take place on the charro canvas owned by the singer are revealed.

"We want to pay homage by doing these charreadas [Charrería Championship] for the most Mexican of the charros that there can be, the Charro de Huentitán," Gerardo Fernández junior, Vicente Fernández's grandson, announced to the Mexican television program Ventaneando. (TV Azteca). "He has instilled in us [wear] the charro suit."

In the charro canvas there will also be a fishing ground and a coleadero to gather family, friends, competitors and the public who wants to attend to congratulate the interpreter of "Le spite whoever weighs on him."

“There is a fishing ground at the invitation of professionals and an amateur. We have a colladero, also by invitation. We have four charreadas a day, from four teams,” Raymundo Ibarra, Fernández's godson, explained to the same media. "There is no better gift for him that is on canvas full of charros and friends, and that the public that loves him so much can be there."

According to Raymundo Ibarra, this idea arose from Vicente Fernández's son, Gerardo, who is the owner of the Tres potrillos team and was the one who started, last year, this tradition of making charreadas to celebrate his father's name day. Of course, more intimate celebrations with family and close friends are expected, but more information about it is not yet released.
