Poncho Herrera Denounces An Uber Driver

Singer and actor Alfonso Poncho Herrera reported that an Uber driver he was arguing with threatened to take out a gun.

“Today I experienced an extremely sad situation with an Uber driver. I hope they take action on the matter, since it is not a minor thing,”the former RBD revealed on his Twitter account, who did not specify where in the United States the incident occurred.

According to Herrera, the driver of the vehicle asked him to cancel the trip and when he refused, clarifying that the cancellation should be made by him if he did not wish to transport him, the driver threatened to take out a pistol.

Poncho said he immediately reported what happened to the platform, but apparently Uber's response was not the most empathetic.

“An Uber driver that I was going to take in the United States asks me to cancel the trip. By telling him that he should do it, he threatens to take out his gun if I don't get out. I report it and Uber just says 'I'm sorry but I can't tell you what the case will end up with.' And the guarantees and rights?”, Asked annoyed on his social network.

The singer assured that he is willing to collaborate with the company to carry out an investigation, since he does not want a similar incident to happen to another client.

Uber has yet to comment on the incident.

In addition to having an impeccable driving record, Uber drivers must pass a background check that reviews federal and county court records for the past seven years, a multi-state database, and the sex offender registry.
