On the night of this Thursday, a tragic accident claimed the lives of two actors in the successful Televisa series Without fear of the truth.
These are Jorge Navarro Sánchez and Luis Gerardo Rivera, who fell from a bridge at a location in Mexico City while they were rehearsing a scene from the third season of the fiction that is about to be released. This was announced by Televisa in a statement, where the Mexican company regrets what happened and extends its condolences to the families of the victims.
"Televisa reports with deep pain that on the night of this Thursday, January 16, in the rehearsal of a scene from the series Without fear of truth, the actors Jorge Navarro Sánchez and Luis Gerardo Rivera lost their lives, falling from a bridge in a location. The production in charge of Rubén Galindo is attending with the authorities of Mexico City this unfortunate accident, which mourns our Televisa house. Our prayers are with the families of Jorge and Luis Gerardo, to whom we extend our deepest condolences, "reads the statement.
Starring young Mexican actor Álex Perea, the series, whose first season premiered in Mexico with great success in October 2018, tells the story of Manu (Perea), a brave and idealistic young man who uses his skills as a hacker to help people who have been victims of some injustice. Manu, with the pseudonym 'Gus', has a video blog where he publishes uncomfortable truths for the world of crime and corruption.
The second season began airing in July 2019 and, like the first, did not exceed 25 episodes.
The fiction landed on Univision screens on July 30 last year at 10 p.m. EST.
The third season is currently being recorded in Mexico with the stellar participation of the renowned Mexican actor Eduardo Yáñez.
