Five years ago, Daniel Rengifo was diagnosed with brain cancer. Since then, the Colombian actor began a series of treatments such as radiation, surgeries, and chemotherapies in order to combat the disease; However, during the last surgical procedure he underwent to eat, the 26-year-old lost his life.
The Colombian Association of Actors and its ITM representation agency José Rivera confirmed the news.

Daniel Rengifo began his television career at the age of 17, when he was presenting 5Cobijas, a children's program on the Colombian regional channel Telepacífico.
