Next Monday, December 9, with the transmission of the last chapter of The End of Paradise, Telemundo will put an end to the successful saga that Carmen Villalobos heads after five seasons on the air. Its protagonist, the renowned Colombian actor Fabián Ríos, who has played Albeiro since 2008 in the aforementioned story written by Gustavo Bolívar, tells us exclusively how he feels about the imminent closure of this important stage in his career.

The saga comes to an end. What do you feel?

I think it is something wonderful for everyone because we gave the best of each one in each season. I think we leave a great legacy for all the people who lived with us that performance of each of the characters and the story. It leaves us gratitude, it leaves us many beautiful things. For me it is more than enough with this season that comes to an end and I think that much more beautiful things are coming, but especially in my heart there is much gratitude for this series.

Albeiro has been a character that has accompanied you during the last years of your career, is it difficult to get rid of him?

It is simply gratitude. For me he was a wonderful character who gave me only beautiful things and I think I always hoped to have the opportunity to reinterpret him since 2008 when I did Sin sinos hay hay Paraíso and I was given [the opportunity] in 2016 when we decided to say yes. resounding on Telemundo and launch for the line, which was the first series in this saga with Catherine Siachoque and obviously Carolina Gaitán. Today we are living all that effort and all that wonderful fruit that we started with that big, but beautiful risk.

What are you going to miss the most?

Such a beautiful story, an almost real story. Interpreting it was wonderful, but we trust God that better new stories will come. Of course [also] the production and the colleagues, but we lived what we had to live at the time.

What lessons does Albeiro leave you?

At a professional level, Albeiro leaves me that consecration at work because somehow the only thing I did these last three years, almost four, was interpret it; So I did my best, guided only by the script. So it only leaves me gratitude and a lot of discipline towards a beautiful project and towards a character that brought me immense and unforgettable satisfaction on a personal and professional level.
