Perhaps Jenni Rivera could have been saved from death, while reconciling with the members of the Banda MS; however, the first one did not happen because circumstances led Diva de la Banda to take that plane that fateful day.

“We had had a mishap, a situation that occurred with Jenni [Rivera] through a video [sexual with one of her musicians] in which the MS Band has been wrongly blamed for spreading it; which we had nothing to do, "Osvaldo, a member of the group, explained to the Mexican television program Ventaneando (TV Azteca). "For a time, he lived a little bit away from Banda MS, us without knowing."

Shortly before his death, the interpreter of "The great lady" wanted to end the conflict he was having with said group and had an approach to ask them to attend his concert the next day.

“The night before that [on the day of the accident], she was able to heal that part with Banda MS and say 'you know what? I want to be with you at the concert, I want to sing with you, '”he said. "She spoke to the office, which was in Monterrey, and asking if there was a chance [opportunity] to go to the Banda MS concert and, why not, she would like to sing with the band."

For reasons that the members of the group are unaware of, the Diva de la Banda was unable to attend the show and went straight to board the plane.

On the other hand, Juan Francisco López, as other people have said, confirmed that Jenni Rivera, in 2000 and 2002, received death threats; the collaborator and friend of the singer suggested that he have evidence to give to the Mexican or American authorities.

“I said 'protect yourself with a lawyer, with a notary public; make a video where you are declaring and you show the call, you show the number, '”he explained to the same broadcast.
