A few months after a year of the disappearance and death of the boy Gabriel Cruz, who moved Spain, a chilling video has come to light with the confession of Ana Julia Quezada, the 45-year-old Dominican woman who first hid and later confessed the murder of the 8-year-old boy.

At the time of her apprehension, the woman was said to have had "maximum coldness" in executing the crime. And now the video, revealed by the Public Mirror program of Chain Three reveals the cold blood that the woman had when it came to ending the boy, who was the son of her boyfriend, Ángel Cruz.

The video shows the woman crying bitterly and implying that the boy's death was an accident. As she explained, she found the boy playing with a stick near his grandmother's house in Almería, and invited him to go with her to a nearby farm, in the town of Rodalquilar, which they were renovating.

Already on the farm the woman assured that she was pulling up the blinds of the house when she found the boy playing with an ax. "I tell him, 'Gabriel, give me the ax that you are going to hurt yourself, that you can hurt yourself,'" the woman is heard explaining in the video. "And she says," No! I do not give it to you that you are always sending me. And I don't want you to send me, you're ugly. That I want you to leave my father. That I want my father to marry my mother and to leave you. That you have a very ugly nose, that I don't love you.”

The confessed murderer gave interviews before the boy's body was found:

The woman then explains that when the boy started saying that, he covered his mouth and nose, without remembering for how long. "When she stopped screaming and everything, I took her hand from her mouth. And I remember, yes, that when I took his hand off the boy was no longer breathing, "he confessed.

Then he explained that he smoked cigarettes. "I didn't know what to do," he confessed. "I was going crazy. The only thing I thought, "What am I going to say to Angel!". Gabriel's father … That I have taken away the biggest thing he has. Then it occurs to me, I see an ax over there and say, "Well, I bury the boy here."

The dramatic crime captured the attention of the national and international press because after the disappearance of the minor, which occurred on February 27, a human hunt began throughout the region to search for “Pescaíto” as the boy was called.

A hashtag with that nickname even became popular. Those looking for the minor included the Dominican, but a few days later the police discovered the boy's body in the trunk of his car, when alone she went to the farm where he had suffocated him and unearthed him.
