We are delighted with our new cover for May that is adorned by the beloved Adamari López and in which how her life has been in recent months, especially after she was hospitalized for several weeks due to severe influenza. The presenter also talks about her emotional state, her family and her new adventure with WW. But we cannot deny how incredibly beautiful López looks in the photos of this edition, which were taken in the city of Miami a few days before the quarantine due to the coronavirus began.
In the photos, the Puerto Rican looks radiant with super flirty and fresh outfits, perfect for spring, as well as different beauty looks, which undoubtedly highlighted her incredible beauty. As we wanted to know more about her makeup and the hairstyles that she sports on the pages of the new edition, we spoke with those responsible for performing them, the stylist Marco Peña and the makeup artist Mariela Bagnato, who told us all the details.
“With Adamari we love to highlight natural beauty and achieve a radiant look. In this new stage of her life we wanted to project this new chapter with makeup that makes her shine for who she is,”explains Bagnato. “I love working on Adamari her eyes. For her eyes I used brown and copper tones that highlight her eye color. I framed her gaze with my Red Carpet false lashes that add natural volume to her lashes. For contour, highlighter and blush, apply Mary Kay Chromafusion shades that deposit pigment on the skin without overloading it.”
On the other hand, in the photoshoot the presenter had several changes of clothes chosen by the stylist Reading Pantaleón, including a beautiful fuchsia jumpsuit, a fabulous pink dress and another with a floral print and that is why the hair stylist played created several hairstyles that perfectly match their outfits and of course, also with makeup.

“[I used] extensions. Her hair is super short. He wanted a length that would look cute on him. A length that we had not done in that shade of hair. When they [proposed] me the cover with Adamari, the first thing I said was, 'please give me permission [to put on] the longest hair,'”says Peña. “The last time they cut her super short hair. He said it was an accident. She has a super short bob."

Based on the looks that were chosen and of course the vision that he had of the presenter, the stylist made several hairstyles, including loose waves and a ponytail, which made her look super cool and youthful. To do this, she used various products such as Olaplex's Bonding Oil and TRESemme's Compressed Extend Hairspray Hold Level 4, as well as a 1/4 inch pliers.

“I decided that [it should] be a little below the shoulder because that way it looks elegant, it looks modern. We wanted it super cool, super loose waves and that's what we went for,”explains the expert. “We collected her hair in one of the looks. We picked it up in a ponytail which is a hairstyle that looks good on almost every woman who has a divine face. She with that face of course it was going to look good on her. Also, with what she was wearing, her ponytail worked well for her.”
