Net-a-Porter has adopted a policy of not selling any item that is made from animal skin.
The change comes from its sister company, The Yoox Net-a-Porter Group, which means that not only that company will be affected by the change. This new rule will be applied to companies like Mr. Porter, Yook and The Outnet.
This ad follows the trend that other brands have adopted to make and sell clothing that is not made from animal skins. For example, last year Armani became a company without products made of leather and in the Stella McCartney spring 2017 collection parade, t-shirts with messages such as "No to fur" and "no to leather" were seen.
With so many companies leaving the fur aside, we would not be surprised to see others that follow this idea.
