Actress Silvana Arias is enjoying the beauty of her character Bárbara in the soap opera La Fan (Telemundo) and it is not for less since in the plot she shares credits with the talented Mexican actress Angélica Vale, the Colombian actor Juan Pablo Espinosa and the Venezuelan Scarlet Ortiz. Of course, although she loves what she does, when she does not have to be on the forums, the Peruvian actress loves to communicate with her fans through Facebook, Instagram or through her YouTube channel, where she not only publishes information about her work but also about fashion and beauty. We talked to her about her lipstick and bag line, as well as all her plans for the future.

Silvana tell us about your character in the novel La Fan …

My character is called Barbara and she is a millionaire girl who for reasons of life is left completely alone and in ruin. I think that deep down it gives a good message, that of moving forward no matter what happens since everything is learning in this life. Also, I had a lot of fun with the character.

We know that you are also a beauty lover, when did you start your YouTube channel and what do you share with your followers?

I opened it a few years ago but only since last year have I been uploading more material. I love to share almost all my life with my followers, from my trips and events to makeup tutorials and secrets to fulfill my goals. Also, I have the [segment] Ask Silvana, where I answer all kinds of questions that are asked on social networks. I love being in direct and constant communication with them.

How did your taste for fashion and beauty come about?

From a very young age I knew that I was going to dedicate myself to art. I liked to draw and design clothes for my Barbies. I graduated from fashion design and business administration because I knew that at some point I was going to have my own line or brand. The acting thing happened by chance and it has opened many doors for me, but I always need other ways to express myself creatively. My website AriasModa.com was born from a trip to Italy because we needed a lightweight wallet that could be transformed to use it in various ways. We had business meetings but then we went out for a walk around the city and at night to discover the nightlife. So my sister Poli and I designed a bag that you can use day or night and in 4 different styles just by changing the handle. It is super practical and spacious as well as being at a very good price. It is perfect for the woman of today who does many things at once.

Would you like to dedicate yourself more to design?

I would like to design a whole line of versatile accessories for the modern woman. Sometimes we don't have time to go home and change for a meeting after work. Changing the color of the lipstick and the style of your bag you can easily change an outfit from day to night.

We know that you also do beauty and fashion fairs for your followers. Tell us about this adventure …

He wanted women to have a place where they could learn new fashion and beauty trends live and for free. So we launched the first “Beauty and Fashion Fair by Silvana” at Donnatella Cosmetics, in Miami. I hope in time to take her to other cities. We invite well-known makeup artists and designers, as well as health connoisseurs and motivators to not only expose their knowledge but also for people to ask questions. Beauty is a set of many things and is generated from the inside out.

Your taste for makeup led you to create your own collection of lipsticks …

Yes, it is called By Silvana and we ship worldwide. I started with three basic colors that every woman should have. All are minerals, without parabens, they do not dry your lips and they are tones that go with all skin types. I have tutorials on my YouTube channel in case you need more ideas.

Are you planning to expand your collection of bags and makeup line?

Yes, we are working on the new collection of wallets that will continue to be the same functional model but with other colors and materials. I would also love to work on a line of scarves and perhaps earrings or necklaces that have interchangeable parts. Regarding lipsticks, I would like to continue creating with Donnatella Cosmetics new colors and products that facilitate the process of looking beautiful.

What other plans do you have?

I am writing scripts because I want to produce my own content for film, television and other platforms. I think that the Hispanic public needs more options in our language, although I have also created stories like Mismatch Made in Heaven, which is a short film where the characters are Latino but is made entirely in English. We've already sent it to various festivals so we're just waiting for answers.
