For designer Karl Lagerfeld, "It is never too early to worry about fashion." That's the phrase Chanel's creative director wrote in the North West photo for CR Fashion Book.

The 14-month-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West appears in this style guide created by former Vogue Paris director Carine Roitfeld under the title “The Future”. Kardashian starred on the magazine cover last year when she was pregnant.

In the black-and-white image, North is sporting Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings that her parents gave her on her birthday, plus a brooch and a mini-bag from Chanel.

According to the publication's website, the image of North, photographed by Michael Avedon, will appear in a story titled Legends, which "celebrates the unconventional side of fashion icons."

Although the daughter of the reality star and singer had already appeared in the March issue of Vogue with her parents, it is the first time she has posed alone in a fashion magazine.
