More and more have been the celebrities who in recent months have declared that they have been victims of harassment. Marjorie de Sousa is no exception. The Venezuelan woman exclusively told People en Español that, like many of her colleagues, she has been a victim of harassment.

What do you think about this wave of accusations of harassment in the middle of the show?

As a human being, I think that it is a very strong lake, especially when you live in a situation like this because you do not speak out of fear and you remain silent for many years, it is horrible and nobody knows how to act, in addition to the impotence that someone who believes you gives.

Have you been harassed?

In my case, professionally, I have never experienced such a thing, thank God. The truth, my respects for those women who have had to overcome these types of situations because I think it is something that marks you for life in every way. I have worked with wonderful people and very respectful producers with many values. Fortunately, I have not experienced such situations in my work.

So, have you been harassed on a personal level?

Sometimes unintentionally we try to be good with someone and save something, we accept things, until a moment comes when you say what am I doing with my life? Who am I? and you don't even know yourself.

The strongest is when you talk and people tell you that you are crazy and that is a lie. At the person level, I have been the victim of bullying, of a very large smear campaign. Thank God I have a strong family and a mother, if not for her I think I would not be speaking here. I have very valuable people around - time because with all this I have left few friends - who have helped me to get ahead.

What would you say to People en Español readers about bullying

I think it is time for us to talk and not to be silent. We denounce and do not accept that they harm us, bullying, harass us and mistreat our integrity and damage our self-esteem by trying to trample us.
