Now that she is expecting her third baby, Bárbara Bermudo gave 9 tips to women who are pregnant like her.
1. Drinking water during pregnancy is important for a woman's body to combat dehydration, a severe complication that can affect the proper development of the fetus' brain.
2. Water cleanses maternal blood of toxins. This way the blood stream gets cleaner to the baby.
3. The water protects the baby's health since it renews, feeds and hydrates the amniotic sac fluid every hour.
4. Water prevents hypertension, as well as the development of cardiovascular diseases, during pregnancy.
5. Water improves the condition of women's skin, which appears much healthier, hydrated and clean.
6. Water prevents problems like constipation and hemorrhoids in pregnancy.
7. Water relieves discomfort such as morning sickness.
8. Water can prevent premature labor.
9. Drinking 2 liters of water a day is very beneficial to avoid fluid retention.
The host of Primer Impacto (Univisión) announced last February that she will be the mother of a girl for the third time.
