Now that the sequels of successful stories that have marked an entire generation are booming, there are many viewers who fantasize about seeing the Reyes brothers and the Elizondo sisters in action again, the protagonists of the unforgettable telemundo soap Telemundo Pasión of hawks, a story that Mario Cimarro, Danna García, Paola Rey, Juan Alfonso Baptista, Michel Brown and Natasha Klauss headed in 2003 in Colombia.

Although so far the project does not seem to be within the chain's priorities, everything is being aligned so that it could be carried out if Telemundo finally decided, starting with the desire of the entire cast to work together again.

"For now the truth is that there are no plans, but I would love it, it seems to me the most. It is a very beautiful story that was marked for all of us and obviously I would love to be in this production again," said Paola Rey, who gave life to the rebellious Jimena.

For Natasha Klauss, who played another of the Elizondo sisters, "it would be nice" for a sequel to the soap opera to be made, but she admits that it would be "difficult".

"I believe that if today we get together and do Pasión de gavilanes 2, I don't know about those magical things in life, it would be beautiful, but difficult," recognized the unforgettable 'Sarita'.

It is hard but not impossible. That is what Mario Cimarro, who gave life to Juan Reyes, believes.

"It would be necessary to see the history that they present to us, if it is actually done, and see how much time passed, if 10 years, 15 years passed … And see what happened to each of us, then depending on what happened to each of us which then we grab him, but I believe that the characteristics of each character remain the same. Juan will continue to be rough because he did not study, "said the laughing man of successful melodramas like El cuerpo del Deseo.

What the Cuban actor has no doubt about is that the public that followed the successful soap opera 17 years ago would be happy if a second part could be made.

"If Julio Jiménez [the writer] starts to put sparks on his brain and that gives us that, the public will be happy," said the 48-year-old interpreter.
