There was no happy ending for Kemal and Nihan during the season finale of Eternal Love that Univision aired last Friday, December 20. On the contrary.
The successful Turkish soap opera headed by Burak Özçivit and Neslihan Atagül concluded its first season with an unexpected episode that kept the viewer in tension all the time and left the future of its protagonists in the air.
The discovery by Kemal and Ozan that the baby Zeynep is expecting is from Emir triggered a tragic outcome in the last episode that led to Ozan's suicide and a definitive duel between Kemal and Emir that left the villain of the story debating between life and death after being shot during the struggle.
Nihan, for her part, found out that she is pregnant with Kemal, however, the news of her brother's suicide completely destroyed her and separated her even more from the great love of her life, whom she blames for what happened.
With this surprising outcome that left the future of most of its characters in suspense, the soap opera said goodbye to the Univision screens until next year.
It will not be until January 6 when the long-awaited second season premieres and we can finally know how the story will continue.
New schedule
The fiction, which until now was broadcast at 7 pm Eastern time, will begin to occupy the hours of 9 pm Eastern time from January 6, this due to the excellent audience data that the soap opera during its first season.
