Michael Wayne Jones Jr., A 38-year-old Florida resident, has been charged with second-degree murder for the death of his wife Casei Jones, 32. The woman and her children had disappeared several weeks ago and thanks to an incident vial the police discovered that the subject brought the corpse of his wife car.

The events occurred this Sunday in Brantley County, Georgia when police responded to an alert call for a van crash, according to The New York Times. Upon arriving at the incident site, Jones Jr. confessed that his wife's body was in the rear of the vehicle.

The man also revealed that he could take the police to where the remains of four children would be found: Cameron Bowers, 10; Preston Bowers, 5; Mercalli Jones, 2, and Aiyana Jones, just 1 year old. The place, he confessed, was in nearby Charlton County.

The dramatic moment ended the search for Casei Jones, originally from Summerfield, Florida, who had been missing for several weeks. Jones and the children were last seen for six weeks in Ocala County, Florida, People confirms.

Nikki Jones, mother of the victim, worried about her daughter, not knowing anything about her in several weeks. Finally, the old woman resorted to the authorities to report the absence of her daughter and the children, two of whom are biological children of the suspect.

When police inspected the family's Summerfield home, they found it had been empty for weeks. One of the agents who participated in the operation reported the "bad smell of decomposition" in the house. From that moment on, the woman and his four children were placed as "people in danger" and the house was declared a "potential crime scene," according to The New York Times.

Authorities believe Jones killed his family in the home and then hid the bodies there and in his van before transporting them to Georgia.

At a press conference on Monday, Billy Woods, the Marion County Sheriff confirmed that detectives discovered the bodies of the 4 children, however, he avoided giving more details about the place where they were found. The cause of death of the young victims was not disclosed yet.

"As a parent it breaks my heart," Woods said of the dramatic end of the five victims. “As a sheriff, this infuriates me. As far as I'm concerned, putting him in a cell isn't enough,”Woods continued of the future that awaits the suspect. "He has no right to walk on the face of this earth."

Woods was arrested on charges of suspected second-degree murder, as well as charges for driving with an expired / suspended driver's license and for being a fugitive from justice.
