She was 35 years old and had four children, but Linda Holguin's life was cruelly taken by her ex in Riverside County, police say. The man named Bun Leuk repeatedly ran over the woman to death.
Her body appeared lifeless on the roadway along with that of another woman who was injured next to her. The terrible event occurred in front of the family of the victim who has reacted with this message of deep pain and helplessness.
"We lost a mother, a sister, and most importantly, a daughter," wrote her niece Desiré Pérez on a GoFundMe page. "There are no words that can repair our broken hearts," added the young woman.
As reported by the local station KCAL, the murderer chased his victim from a supermarket to the door of his house where his relatives were. Images that your children witnessed and can never forget. "She had wheel marks on her body and on her face," said one of them, the 14-year-old teenager.
It seems that a strong fight between the two was what pushed the murderer to end the life of this young woman. The man fled shortly after hitting her but one of the victim's relatives managed to take a photo of his truck, a Toyota Tacoma.
This evidence was key since thanks to it the vehicle was located two days after the terrible event and its owner could finally be arrested.
